Flexback Bandsaw Blade for Wood, Plastics, and Non-Ferrous Metals
The high-quality carbon steel bandsaw blade features a high carbon content, providing exceptional wear resistance and a longer lifespan. These characteristics make this bandsaw blade stand out with its extremely precise cutting capabilities and remarkable versatility. The flexible backing material effectively absorbs shocks during cutting, making carbon steel bandsaw blades ideal for a wide range of applications.
These bandsaw blades are available in various tooth pitches, ranging from coarse to fine, making them suitable for both hobbyists and professional users. They are also offered in different thicknesses, making them compatible with machines that have small wheels or machines with more than two wheels. For these machines, choose the 0.36 mm thickness: a thinner blade helps prevent metal fatigue and micro-cracks, common issues with overly thick bandsaw blades. The 0.65 mm thickness is for machines with larger wheels.
Carbon steel is particularly suitable for cutting the following materials:
- Hobby and model-building projects
- Pallets for recycling
- Particleboard
- Various types of wood (including hardwood, softwood, and MDF)
- Plastics and non-ferrous materials
Choose carbon steel bandsaw blades to ensure precision, durability, and versatility for all your cutting projects!

What can you cut with a carbon steel bandsaw blade?
Wood, from softwood and hardwood to MDF and chipboard, as well as plastics and non-ferrous metals. It is popular with hobbyists and model builders, and it also cuts pallets for reuse. For steel or stainless steel, choose Bi-metal M42.
Should I choose 0.36 or 0.65 mm thick?
If your machine has small wheels or more than two wheels, choose 0.36 mm. A thicker blade bends harder around the wheel on every turn, and over time that causes hairline cracks. The narrow widths of 3, 4 and 5 mm only come in 0.65 mm.
Which sizes can you order?
Any length from 500 to 12,000 mm, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, 16, 20, 25 or 32 mm wide. Teeth: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 18, 24 or 32 TPI. Blade thickness 0.36, 0.50, 0.65, 0.80, 0.90 or 1.10 mm, depending on width and teeth.
