Bandsaws are generally electrically driven by an electric motor. The saw is light-shaped and endless, meaning that the bandsaw is attached together in a circle. The saw moves between two wheels on the worktop with space between for the workpiece. The bandsaw makes cuts with its teeth to cut metal or wood, for example.
A bandsaw cuts through the material, so to speak, with a sharpened blade with teeth or serrations. The saw blade rotates from top to bottom and is well suited for long cuts. Even materials with large thicknesses are easily to cut through. The thin saw blade makes it easy to make turns. The narrower the saw blade, the sharper the bend.
At Custom Band Saws we have different types of band saws. The cutting speed depends on the material, the harder the material the lower the cutting speed. We offer customized band saws for every material.
Custom Band Saws has different band saws for different projects, so you have the right band saw at your disposal for each workpiece. We have bandsaws specifically for wood, metal, plastic and non-ferrous, foam and foam rubber and food.
Our bandsaw Ripper includes a robust bandsaw with a coarse tooth profile that is specially designed for woodworking, for example; cutting boards out of trees or resawing furniture. The Bi-Metal is a band saw for very robust versions that is well suited for metal and non-ferrous materials. The correct width and thickness is also important when choosing the appropriate bandsaw. This is because the width affects the bends. Do you want to make a lot of turns? Then go for a narrow bandsaw.
