How Does a Band Saw Work?

A band saw is a versatile, electrically powered saw machine with an endless (continuous) saw blade that runs continuously over two wheels, one mounted above the other.

These wheels, separated by an adjustable distance and connected via the blade guide, determine the maximum thickness of the material you can cut. The saw blade moves upward inside the machine and comes down at the top, with the teeth facing downward for a precise and controlled cut.
